Kingsbury Farm
Rhys Darby and his brother have a big family dairy farm, grow maize and in 2020 diversified, dedicating a portion to setup sheep dairying. In June 2021 Rhys took delivery of another purchase of Zealandia® dairy sheep, taking their flock to 1400 milking ewes.
Twin Creeks Farm
After 20 years of working with cows and chickens, James Wallace launched his own dairy sheep operation as Spring Sheep's first external supplier farmer. James started with milking 500 Zealandia® dairy sheep, and now milks 680.
Colewin Farms
Ryan grew up on his parents’ dairy cow farms spending the obligatory time milking but never considered milking any other species. The smaller environmental footprint of sheep dairying sparked his interest and his parents agreed to convert 42ha of their 70ha property to sheep milking. Ryan Mcpherson milked 650 Zealandia® dairy sheep in his first season and will have 1,000 in 23-24 season.
